Our solar lighting solutions can be integrated with KENLOK, our intelligent electronic control unit, responsible for managing all the parameters of the lights, ensuring a correct system functioning. That is possible thanks to an algorithm of control developed in house and optimized by our R&D department.
The control unit analyses the data from the solar panels, manages the battery´s level and the LED lamp´s energy consume, in order to assure lighting throughout night, every day of the year.
This solution can be elaborated in a customized way, according to each project´s necessity. It is possible to incorporate different improvements, such as presence detectors, thermometers or illumination sensors.
The solar radiation and therefore the capture of energy might be limited by the latitude of the location, which might affect the perfect lighting during the periods with less sunlight, as the winter.
As a consequence, the traditional solar lights may not be able to ensure lighting during a whole night of winter, due to the lack of energy captured during the day and the long nights. In order to make sure that there will be no dark hours, we developed KENLOK.
We have developed the ILUMEK remote management system in EKIONA, an innovative solution for controlling and monitoring solar light posts. Each post has a last generation wireless device that sends its information to the other posts, making sure they all work as expected.
Each group of posts includes a main post that has a different wireless communication system, responsible for receiving all the information and sending it to the management centre, from which the data will be available for the users. This wireless device will also send the data to a server responsible for storing it.
ILUMEK allows the users to verify the status of each post from any device (PC, tablet or mobile) connected to the internet. At every moment the information about each post will be available, as well as the battery level, lighting strength, security, etc. The online software also allows changes on the parameters of lighting and its schedule, whenever that is considered as necessary by the user.
